Our dedicated team of staff and volunteers help provide an excellent service to the residents of Shrewsbury and surrounding areas. If you would like to get involved, check out our 'How you can help', page.
In 1994, a group of like-minded people came together to form the Shrewsbury Furniture Scheme. An Independent charity focused on helping those on low-incomes, with their essential household needs.
We support people on low-incomes, to furnish their homes, by providing good quality, second-hand furniture and household items.
We also help the environment by reducing the amount going to landfill, every year.
Your donations help us provide furniture and household items to people throughout Shropshire. We receive no government funding, and rely purely on the generous donations of the public and occasional grants from wonderful local businesses, such as, Garfield Weston to keep us going.
Everything we make goes back into the charity to help us support the people who need it most.
